Yeuh!

Shoo hayda, can't a gal miss one day of post? Imagine I had no time to write last night, except for the inside comment in the last entry! I was bombarded with visitors, which was actually nice for a change. The day, unlike the previous one passed really quickly, so I didn't feel that bored. I still had some time in the pm to research more hospitals for the BMT. We are still stuck between France and England, with a small possibility of the US still looming in the background (don't tell Cyba and Fadi, they'll kill me for even thinking it!).

Today is a quiet day so far. Almost failed TM session, breakfast, shower, computer, tv, chemo (today I get the orange Mirinda chemo, yummy! the one that lets the rest of my hair fall, so say goodbye to my lashes and brows and and and...,) yalla, inshallah, 24 more hours of this and I'll be going home inshallah. I will be back a couple of times next week for tests and stuff, but maalesh, it'll be good to be home. Hope the Eid is on Saturday so I spend less time here.

Thanks for all who've been praying for me (Mo's wife, esp!).

Lyn, kiss the boys, I am sure they are adorable with their curly hair now!

Tammy, sorry babes, u cannot put Utube here. you'll have to send them to my halabeydoun360@hotmail.com email (also msn address for those who haven't added me there yet) and I'll see them there.

As for the rest of you people, where are you? show me some love!

mwah,

Hala

Sorry, habibet albi - Fawzan is trying to call you and Wissam now, but the line is so f*** screwed up.

Sorry again I haven't been writing or contributing, but i've been a bit too medaperseh - no good when I want to cheer you up.

Still trying to come up with things to occupy you while you're counting the minutes to pass. I promise I'll come up with something.

Love you sweetie, you are always, always, always in my thoughts and in my heart. And I'm glad to see people are finding you here (see? told ya, always listen to me, I'm always right, hehehe).

Take care, darling, will be in touch soon. Just finished talking to Wiss on your room phone - :-) :-D

We are all around. We come and look at your blog and read the comments and try to send virtual strength through.
What's a few eyebrows? If you get desperate you can draw them on and wear big false eyelashes like the classy ladies do... LOL
Enjoy the Mirinda and don't worry about where you have to go. Wherever it is, is where you will get treated, end of story. What is most important, darling? Hala getting well asap. Concentrate on that, it will all pass and the main thing is to get better.Lovely picture by the way, you look more beautiful hairless than most people do with the whole thing.

I am passing this on to you because it definitely worked for me, and we could all use a little more calmness in our lives?

By following the simple advice I heard on the radio yesterday, I have finally found inner peace. The phone in show was talking about the potential damage to our health of the stress we have in our lives. Dr Phil proclaimed "The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the

things you've started and never finished."

So, this morning, I looked around my house to see all the things I

had started and hadn't finished and before leaving the house, I finished

off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of White Zinfandel, a bottle of Bailey's

Irish Cream, a bottle of Bombay Sapphire Gin, a packet of Jaffa cakes, the

remainder of an old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake,

some Doritos and a box of chocolates............You have no idea how bloody

good

I feel!!!!

The man is a genius!

Hey, Lyn - those blue chairs have been around for a while - they are quite comfortable if you need to spend the night, haha!

Can you stand another Bush joke? it's really stupid and really funny:

George Bush and Dick Cheney are talking, when Bush suddenly complains "I hate all the dumb George Bush jokes people tell about me."

Cheney, feeling sorry for his "boss," says "Oh, they're only jokes. There are a lot of truly stupid people out there. Here, I'll prove it to you."

Cheney takes Bush outside and hails a cab.

"Please take me to 29 Nickel Street to see if I'm home," says Cheney. The cab driver, without saying a word, drives them to 29 Nickel Street.

Cheney looks at Bush and says, "See! This guy is really stupid."

George Bush agrees. "He really is a dummy. There was a pay phone just around the corner. You could have called instead."

Duck jokes:

A man and a duck are walking down the street together. Suddenly the man notices a low flying airplane coming right for them. So the man yells "DUCK!!!!" The duck looks angrily back at the man and yells "MAN!!!!"
________________
Three ducks went into court. The judge called the first one to the stand.

"What is your name?" he asked.

"Quack." the duck answered.

"And why were you arrested?" the judge asked.

"I was stepping on bubbles." he answered.

The judge didn't see anything wrong with that, so he dismissed the duck and called up the next one.

"What's your name?" he asked.

"Quack," the duck answered.

"Why were you arrested?" the Judge asked.

"I was stepping on bubbles." the duck replied.

Again, the judge saw nothing offensive, so he called up the next duck.

"What's your name?? No wait, let me guess, Quack." he said.

"No," said the duck, "My name is Bubbles."
_______________

Maya's foul joke from when she was 18 months old (not kidding)
Knock, Knock!
Who there?
Caca!!!
Caca who?
Caca-do-do-do!!! (cockadoodledoo!)

What about elephant riddles?
I'll put the answers at the end so you can't cheat

The elephant and the ant went to the swimming-pool together. First the elephant swam, then the ant and so on. They never got in the pool together. Why not?

How can you tell when an elephant has been in the fridge?

How can you get 4 elephants into a Fiat?

How can you get 4 lions into a Fiat?

They had only one swimsuit to share.

Footprints in the butter

2 in the front, 2 in the back of course.

You can't you dummy, it's full of elephants
