Greetings from Sutton!

Hello form Surrey, ah Sorry, Sutton, Surrey, yes, Sorry, Sutton! We are finally in Sutton, Surrey. We arrived here Sunday and have been running around from hotel to hospital to high street ever since. The town is actually very nice and cosy, with all shops u might think of (even TopShop!) and a whole lot of cute restaurants and greenery and a park and and and...
We are looking for an apartment to rent (can't tell u what a 'kartheh' the hotel is!) since we will be staying for quite a while.

We met the doc on Monday and again today, and he explained the whole procedure to us. He seems very nice and efficient, so I'm kinda relieved. We started undergoing tests, Fadi and I. they must have taken about 20 blood tubes from each of us! We have a few days off from hospital before I go in for some outpatient procedures next week, so perhaps we will be going in to London for some 'fun'!

It turns out there is internet connection at the hospital, so, yay, i will hopefully keep u updated.

I'm off to bed now, loooooong day. Will catch u soon for more details.

mwah,
H

Habibteh Haloul,

I am happy that you feel kind of relieved. Wiss told me that the Dr looks like Harry Potter, I imagine, you already asked him to do some magic..hehehe.
I pray for you always. Will try to do my British visa in Lebanon. The Tommy and I can come and visit inshaallah.
Love, hugs and kisses to you.
Be strong, be healed.

Glad to hear, I was asking Rima about you yesterday, but she hadn't heard anything. Good luck finding a flat - on top of everything else and hope all goes well with the hospital and tests. Which hospital are you being treated at?

Ciao Hala,

did you already begin your shopping and burgle all the shops in dowtown?
Is X'mas atmosphere already in the air?
During these days don't think about doctors, hospitals, tests... but only shopping, shopping and shopping... I think it is a real panacea!!! (...maybe men with you will not have the same idea but a bit sacrifice...)

Enjoy your stay in London

Ciao ciao

Cristina

Hi everyone! This is Fadi the brother!! Just to update you a bit while little sis gets back on-line. I just came back from Sutton where Hala will have here transplant at the Royal Marsden Hospital. Yes she found a nice flat over-looking the area with wonderful scenery and sunshine - yes even in the UK!! Internet connection hasnt been too convenient, thus the dissapearing act. She needs a land line to connect the internet through to the new flat. We have done the paperwork and all is left is for BT to connect her up. We expect this to be done by Wednesday Inshalla! Till then i just want to tell you that Hala misses you all and misses her blog and is very keen on updating you with all her news and activities (and her shopping - maily for the new house!) as soon as possible. Once again thank you all for your support. It means A LOT to all of us. Fadi
