Dear ALL,
Thanks a million to everyone who tried to send me Aniseed or 'yansoon'. I finally got some. Guess how? MOMMY"S HERE!!! YAAAYYY!!!! She and Cyba surprised me a couple of days ago. Suddenly everything seems easier to handle!
Mom not only brought yansoon, but also half of her freezer including ALL kinds of 'kibbe' and spices and sheesh barak... yum yum yum. So, no worries about me eating well (as soon as I can manage to actually 'eat' anything! :(
Going to see the doc tomoro and try to find a solution to this bugger of a pain.
Wiss left to Beirut last night to check on girls. I miss him already! Pls those reading in Beirut, take care of him for me!

I am always left speechless when I read your blog either by the intensity and depth of what you write or by forgetting my password :).
I am so glad your mom is there finally , it is good to have her around I am sure with her really delicious food,Inshalla you will feel much better and just the idea of her being around.
I used to go sniffing around mum's kitchen looking for leftovers even if i had a big feast the day before, somehow their cooking reminds us of everything good and loving and tastes different don't you think???
Enjoy you time with aunty Nuha and Cyba and maybe together you can try the yansoon date cookies , they are really good!!! Best regards to everyone

Glad to hear your mom is there with you .. that alone makes things seem easier .. sabsoub is amazing to have around too .. now you won't have to worry about anything .. she will organize and reorganize everything .. hehe.
